Our team
Benjamin Lee, PsyD
I am a clinical psychologist specializing in couples and individual therapy. My therapeutic style is client-centered, supportive, and solution-focused.
With couples, I work toward improving communication to bring resolution to conflict, with approaches informed by the Gottman Method. With individuals, I usually begin with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and transition into insight-oriented therapy to help people understand patterns of thinking and behavior. Depending on presenting issues, I may use Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Internal Family Systems (IFS) approaches.
My areas of expertise include generalized anxiety, social anxiety, phobias, stress, adjustment, and depression. I also have advanced training and expertise in health psychology, including the psychological aspects of multiple sclerosis, diabetes, obesity, and other chronic health conditions. I'm an ally to people with marginalized identities, such as the LGBTQ+ community, and an advocate for racial justice.
